Planned road works in West Midlands: weekly summary for Monday 8 June to Sunday 14 June

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 5 June 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A40 Welsh border to Whitchurch: carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions between 8pm and 6am from 8 June to 23 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Stivichall Island entry slip, West Midlands: major improvement works

The Eastbound Entry Slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 10 June to 15 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 between A44/A46 Twyford Roundabout & B439/A46 Salford Roundabout, West Midlands: carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 8 June to 31 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 entry slip from B5404, Tamworth, West Midlands: carriageway works

There will be a 24 hour Northbound Entry Slip closure from 6am 19 May ongoing until 6am 29 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Preston Boats (A49/A5) island to M54 junction 7, West Midlands: carriageway works

The Eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 8 June until 16 September. These works will not be carried out on Saturday and Sunday nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A5, Weeford Island to Mile Oak, West Midlands: carriageway works

The Westbound carriageway and slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 8 June until 26 June. These works will not be carried out on Saturday and Sunday nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Mile End Roundabout to Queens Head, West Midlands: carriageway works

The Roundabout will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 8 June until 13 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5, A484 Maesbury junction to Mile End Roundabout, West Midlands: carriageway works

The Roundabout will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 8 June until 13 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A50, Meir Tunnel, West Midlands: carriageway works

The Tunnel will be closed overnight between 8pm and 5.30am from 10 June until 12 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 between A5020 and M6 junction 16, West Midlands: carriageway works

There will be an Off Network carriageway closure in both direction overnight between 8pm and 6am from 8 June until 18 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M42 junction 2-1, West Midlands: carriageway works

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 8 June until 17 June. These works will not be carried out on Sunday nights. A diversion route will be clearly signpost

M42 junction 1-2 including junction 2 exit slip, West Midlands: carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 8 June until 13 June. A diversion route will be clearly signpost

M42 junction 2-3, West Midlands: carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 11 June until 12 June. The carriageway will then be closed in both directions overnight between 10pm and 6am from 12 June until 5th October. A diversion route will be clearly signpost.

M5 junction 4 both directions, West Midlands: carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 8 June to 31 July. A diversion route will be clearly signpost.

M50 junction 1-2, West Midlands: carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 June until 13 June. A diversion route will be clearly signpost.

M50 from M5 junction 8 to M50 junction 2, West Midlands: carriageway works

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm 13 June until the 6am the following morning (14 June). A diversion route will be clearly signpost

M50 junction 3-4, West Midlands: carriageway works

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm 13 June until the 6am the following morning (14 June). A diversion route will be clearly signpost

M50 from M5 Junction 8 to M50 Junction 2, West Midlands: carriageway works

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm 14 June until the 6am the following morning (15 June). A diversion route will be clearly signpost

M54 junction 5 Telford to junction 3 Albrighton, Telford and Wrekin: carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed overnight in Both Directions between 9pm and 6am from 8 June to 13 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M6 junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange, West Midlands: carriageway works

There will be a full 24 hour eastbound link road closure from 8 June ongoing until 6am 30 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 9, Wednesbury, West Midlands: carriageway works

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip closure from 8 June ongoing until 6am 30 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M6 junction 16 exit slip, West Midlands: carriageway works

The northbound exit slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 8 June to 18 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 12 entry slip, West Midlands: carriageway works

The northbound entry slip will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 8 June to 10 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 between junction 10-9 and junction 10-11, West Midlands: carriageway works

The northbound and southbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 10pm 8 June until 6am the following morning (9 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 13 entry slip, West Midlands: carriageway works

The northbound entry slip will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 10 June until 12 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 13 exit slip, West Midlands: carriageway works

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 10 June until 12 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound link will be closed overnight from 10pm 11 June until 5am the following morning (12 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 10a to 11a, West Midlands: carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 10pm 12 June until 6am the following morning (13 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
