The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 02 September 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 – Streethay slip road: carriageway work

The slip roads will be closed for 24 hours a day from 8 August ongoing until 11 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 – Hilliards Cross northbound exit slip: developer work

The northbound exit slip will be closed for 24 hours a day from 24 August ongoing until 21 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 – Barton under Needwood to Branston: sign inspections

The northbound carriageway Including all associated slip roads will be closed overnight between 8.30pm and 6am from 5 September until 10 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 – Branston to Barton under Needwood: sign inspections

The southbound carriageway Including all associated slip roads will be closed overnight between 8.30pm and 6am from 5 September until 10 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The Links from out of city A38M will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 5 September until 12 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 – Stonebridge highway eastbound: carriageway work

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 6 September until 5am the following morning. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Church Stretton to Leebotwood: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 10pm and 6am from 5 September until 11 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Churchbridge to Turf roundabout: carriageway work

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for one night from 9pm 5 September until 6am the following morning (6 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Stonydelph exit slip road: carriageway work

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 5 September until 6am the following morning (6 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Ogley Hay junction to Muckley Corner: carriageway work

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 6 September until 10 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Mile Oak slip roads: carriageway work

The eastbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight for one night from 9.30pm 9 September until 6am the following morning (10 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50– Meir Tunnel: carriageway maintenance

The tunnel will be closed in both directions overnight between 8.30pm and 6am from 6 September until 9 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 – A5006 from Michelin roundabout and A500 northbound sideway slip road: material deliveries

The northbound carriageway and slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 5 September until 11 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 – Handford exit slip road: grass cutting

The southbound exit slip roads will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 5 September until 6am the following morning (6 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The slip into city Aston Expressway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 5 September until 11 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 9 exit and entry slip roads: carriageway work

The northbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight for one night from 8.30pm on 5 September until 6am the following morning (6 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm to 6am on 8 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 – junction 2 exit slip road: vegetation work

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 5 September until 6am the following morning (6 September). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The eastbound entry slip will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 8 September until 10 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 6 Salford Circus to M6: rewaterproofing and structural repairs

There will be a 24 hour carriageway closure in both directions from 8 July 2016 ongoing until 23 December 2017. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 7 exit slip road: carriageway work

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 5 September until 11 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 6 exit slip road: carriageway work

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 5 September until 11 September. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
