Planned road works in West Midlands: Weekly summary for Monday 2nd November 2015 to 8th November 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 30 October 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 – Swinfen to Toyota Island / Swinfen to Weeford. West Midlands. Drainage Surveys

The slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 2nd November until 8th November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 – Barton Junction. West Midlands. Electrical Works

The northbound entry and exit slips will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 2 November until 5am the following morning (3 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 – Barton Junction Southbound. West Midlands. Electrical Works

The southbound entry and exit slips will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 3 November until 5am the following morning (4 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 – A5121 Barton Junction Both Directions. West Midlands. Resurfacing Works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 7pm and 7am from 5 November until 8 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Kenilworth Bypass to Stivichall Junction. West Midlands. Electrical works

The northbound exit slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Stonebridge Highway. West Midlands. Signage and gantry works.

The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm Friday 6 November to 6am (Saturday 7 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Woodcote to Dobbies. West Midlands. Resurfacing Works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 2 November until 8 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Emstry to Dobbies. West Midlands. Resurfacing Works

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 2 November until 8 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Catchems Corner to Queensway. West Midlands. Environmental Works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8.30pm and 5am from 2 November until 8 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 / A521 Junction. West Midlands. Carriageway Works

The westbound entry slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 2 November until 7 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 Junction 6 Exit Slip. West Midlands. Sign Repairs

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 2 November until 7 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 5 Exit Slip, West Midlands. Junction Improvement Works

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 2 November until 8 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 1 to 2, West Midlands. Bridge Expansion joint renewal

The carriageway will be closed in both directions including slip roads overnight between 9pm and 6am from 2 November until 8 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 6 Slip Roads West Midlands. Mobilisation in Advance of Scheme

The slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 2 November until 8 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 M5 Junction 8 to M50 Junction 2 (INC J1 Entry WB) West Midlands. Installation / Removal of Temporary Barrier

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 7 November until 6am the following morning (8 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 Junction 2 - 4 West Midlands. Installation / Removal of Temporary Barrier

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 8 November until 6am the following morning (9 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 Junction 3. West Midlands. Central Reserve Concrete Barrier Works

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 2 November until 5 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 9 Entry Slip/Western Arm South, West Midlands. Re-waterproofing & Structural Repairs

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip closure from 14 September ongoing until 6am 18 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway including the link road will closed overnight for one night between 9pm and 6am from 1 November until 2 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 6, West Midlands. Removal of Scaffolding

The carriageway including the link road will be closed overnight between 9.30pm and 5.30am from 2 November until 8 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 6 Southbound to A38 Salford Circus West Midlands. Signal Works

The southbound slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 4 November until 5am the following morning (5 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 14 - 13, West Midlands. Installation of Traffic Sensors

The southbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 2 November until 6am the following morning (3 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 3, West Midlands. Bridge Expansion Joint Repair

The northbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 5 November until 6am the following morning (6 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 4-3 including J4 Entry Slip and Southbound Links, West Midlands. Installation of Traffic Sensors

The carriageway including southbound entry slip and link roads will closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 2nd November until 7 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
