Planned road works in West Midlands: weekly summary for Monday 25 April 2016 to 1 May 2016

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 22 April 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A40 – A4137 Whitchurch to Wilton roundabout: resurfacing works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 25 April until 30 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A46 Coventry eastern bypass northbound: A45/A46 Tollbar End improvement works

The carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 26 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Coventry eastern bypass southbound: A45/A46 Tollbar End improvement works

The carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 27 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Stivichall to Tollbar roundabout: improvement scheme

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight on 28 April between 8pm and 6am on 27 April. The eastbound carriageway will be closed on 29 April between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be signposted.

M5 junction 5 southbound exit slip road: major improvement scheme

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight on from 25 April until 28 April. The road will be closed between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be signposted.

M5 junction 5 northbound exit slip road: major improvement scheme

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight on the nights of 26 and 27 April. The road will be closed between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be signposted.

M5 junction 5 northbound entry slip road: major improvement scheme

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight on 28 April. The road will be closed overnight from 8pm to 6am. A diversion route will be signposted.

M5 junction 4a carriageway closure: major improvement scheme

The carriageway will be closed overnight on 29 April. The road will be closed between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be signposted.

M5 junction 4a northbound exit slip road: major improvement scheme

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight on 27 April. The road will be closed 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A452 Stonebridge roundabout: signalisation of roundabout

The roundabout will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 25 April until 29 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Leek Wootton entry slip road: gully cleaning

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 27 April until 5am the following morning (28 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 6 exit slip road: safety critical barrier repair

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 27 April until 30 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The westbound link road to the A45 will be closed from midnight to 8am the same morning of the 1 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 M6 junction 10a to M54 junction 1: VRS scheme

The westbound carriageway will be overnight for 2 nights between 9pm and 6am from 25 April until 27 April. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 3 to junction 4: carriageway resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 26 April until 6am the following morning (27 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 5 entry slip: bridge repairs

There will be a full 24 hour southbound entry slip closure from 18 January ongoing until 6am on 30 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 13 to junction 12 including junction 13 entry slip road and junction 12 exit slip road: carriageway resurfacing

The southbound carriageway including both slip road above will be closed overnight between 10pm and 8am from 25 April until 1 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 10: resurfacing works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 25 April until 6am the following morning (26 April). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
