Planned road works in West Midlands: Weekly summary for Monday 22 – Sunday 28 June 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 22 June 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38M – Lancaster Flyover to Park Circus, West Midlands, Carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for three nights between 10pm and 6am from 22 June to 25 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A40 Welsh Border to Whitchurch, Carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions from 8pm 22 June until 6am the following morning. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Stonebridge Island, West Midlands. Major Improvement works

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm 25 June until 6am the following morning. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A46 between A44/A46 Twyford Roundabout & B439/A46 Salford Roundabout, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 22 June to 31 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Walsgrave Island to Binley (TGI) Island, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 22 June to 20 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 entry slip from B5404, Tamworth, West Midlands. Carriageway works

There will be a 24 hour northbound entry slip closure which started on 19 May ongoing until 6am 29 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Preston Boats (A49/A5) island to M54 Junction 7, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 22 June until 16 September. These works will not be carried out on Saturday and Sunday nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Weeford to M42 Junction 10. Carriageway works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 19 June until 18 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 Junction 2 to 3, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 22 June until 13 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 Junction 4 to 5 including junction 4 entry slip, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The northbound carriageway, including junction 4 entry slip will be closed overnight from 10pm 22 June until 6am the following morning (23 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 4 both directions, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 22 June to 31 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 5 to 6 including junction 5 exit slip, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The southbound exit slip at junction 5 and a lane on the main carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 22 June to 24 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 5 to 6 including junction 5 entry slip, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The southbound entry slip at junction 5 will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 23 June to 25 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 6 to 7 including junction 6 exit slip, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The southbound exit slip at junction 6 and a lane on the main carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 24 June to 26 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 Junction 5 Telford - junction 3 Albrighton, Telford and Wrekin. Carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions between 9pm and 6am from 22 June to 5 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange, West Midlands. Carriageway works

There will be a full eastbound link road closure, 24 hours a day, from 22 June ongoing until 6am 30 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 9, Wednesbury, West Midlands. Carriageway works

There will be a full southbound entry slip closure, 24 hours a day, from 22 June ongoing until 6am on 30 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – M6/M5 Western Arm, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9.30pm and 6am from 24 June to 30 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 12 to 13, West Midlands. Carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 22 June to 28 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
