The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 18 November 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
A38 – Hilliards Cross exit slip road: carriageway work
The northbound exit slip road will be closed 24 hours a day until 21 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A38 – Branston northbound: bridge inspections
The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 21 November until 5am the following morning (22 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A38 – Streethay to Swinfen: carriageway work
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 25 November until 6am the following morning (26 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A38M – M6 Links from Out of City A38M: carriageway work
The links from Out of City A38M will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 21 November until 27 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A38M – Tyburn Road merge onto A38M into City Aston Expressway (F-C Links): carriageway work

A45 Stonebridge Highway eastbound: electrical work
The Eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 23 November until 25 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 – M40 junction 15 to A46: renewal of road markings
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 21 November until 6am the following morning (22 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 – Coventry eastern bypass: carriageway repairs
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 21 November until 6am the following morning (22 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 – B4463 to A4189: carriageway repairs
The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 21 November until 23 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 – Budbrook entry slip: carriageway repairs
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 24 November until 26 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A50 – Hanford to Sideway: carriageway repairs

The southbound carriageway closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 21 November until 26 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 – junction 6: major scheme work
The southbound entry slip road will be closed between 8pm and 6am from 21 November until 23 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
