Planned road works in West Midlands: weekly summary for Monday 20 July to Sunday 26 July 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 17 July 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 Claymills to Branston: safety fence repair

The northbound exit slip will be closed for one night between 8:30pm and 5am from 20 July until the following morning (21 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 Claymills exit slip: trial hole inspection

The northbound exit slip will be closed for one night between 8pm and 6am from 21 July until the following morning (22 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38M out of city: emergency safety inspections

The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions between 8pm and 6am from 23 July until 25 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Tollbar End to A45/A46 Stivichall Junction: bridge works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions for one night from 6pm and 9am from 19 July until the following morning (20 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Stivichall to Tollbar including eastbound entry slip: Tollbar end improvement scheme

The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions between 8pm and 6am from 22 July until 24 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions between 8pm and 6am from 20 July until 27 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Toll Bar Island to TGI Island: carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing

The Northbound carriageway will be closed for one night from 8pm and 6am from 19 July until the following morning (20 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 between A4113 and B4368: minor works

The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions between 6pm and 5am from 25 July until 27 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 Onibury level crossing. annual crossing maintenance

The carriageway will be closed for one night from 11pm and 5am from 26 July until the following morning (27 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Montford Bridge to Churncote: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 20 July until 26 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Weeford Island to M42 junction 10: carriageway works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 19 July until 23 July. (No weekend working). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 M42 junction 10 – B5080 Pennine Way: resurfacing works

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 23 July until 30 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 M42 junction 10 – Marlborough Way: resurfacing works

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 23 July until 6 August. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 10pm 20 July ongoing until 6am 26 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 9, West Midlands: waterproofing and structural repairs scheme

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip closure from 20 July ongoing until 6am 20 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Salford Circus into City, West Midlands: signal work to gantry

The link will be overnight for one night from 10pm 23 July until 5am the following morning (24 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 3, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 9pm 20 July ongoing until 5:30am 23 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M69 junction 1: safety critical barrier repair

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 9pm 22 July ongoing until 6am 25 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
