The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 29 December 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Please note there is a Traffic Management Embargo which runs from Friday 0600 23rd December until 0001 Tuesday 3rd January 2017.

A45 – East way: sign repairs

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 3 January until 7 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Hanney Hay to Muckley Corner: carriageway works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 3 January until 6 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 4 entry slip road: carriageway works

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 3 January until 6am the following morning (4 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 4 entry road: carriageway works

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 4 January until 6am the following morning (5 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 10 entry and exit slip roads: carriageway works

The northbound carriageway and slip roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 5 January until 7 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 3a slip roads: carriageway works

The northbound slip roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 6 January until 8 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 – junction 6: improvement scheme

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 January until 7 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 January until 7 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 5 exit slip road: fence repairs

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am from 5 January until 8 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 15 entry slip road: carriageway works

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 3 January until 7 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 1 to junction 2 including junction 1 entry slip road: carriageway repairs

The northbound carriageway and entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 4 January until 7 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
