Planned road works in West Midlands: Weekly summary for Monday 18 to Sunday 24 May 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 15 May 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 Barton-Under-Needwood – Burton upon Trent: carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am each night from 18 May to 22 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A446 - A452/A446 between Stonebridge Island and Biddles Loops, West Midlands: carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am each night from 18 May to 23 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A45 from Jct 6 roundabout and M42, West Midlands: carriageway works

The northbound link carriageway will be closed overnight between 9.30pm and 5.30am each night from 21 May to 23 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 between Twyford Roundabout and Salford Roundabout: carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions between 8pm and 6am each night from 18 May to 1 July. These works will not be carried out Saturday and Sunday nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 towards Onibury Level Crossing, West Midlands: carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions from 11pm (23 May) until 9.30am the following morning (24 May). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Entry Slip from B5404, Tamworth, West Midlands: carriageway works

There will be a 24 hour northbound entry slip closure from 6am 19 May ongoing until 6am 29 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 Jct 2 to 1, West Midlands: carriageway works

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 18 May until 17 June. These works will not be carried out on Sunday nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 Junction 5 Telford - Junction 3 Albrighton, Telford and Wrekin: carriageway works

The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions between 9pm and 6am each night from 18 May to 21 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange, West Midlands: carriageway works

There will be a full 24hour eastbound link road closure from 18 May ongoing until 6am 30 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 9, Wednesbury, West Midlands: carriageway works

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip closure from 18 May ongoing until 6am 30 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 13 to 12, West Midlands: carriageway works

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 10pm (19 May) until 6am the following morning (20 May). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – M5 Junction 1 to Eastern Arm M6 Junction 7, West Midlands: carriageway works

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am each night from 20 May to 22 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 12 to 13, West Midlands: carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 10pm (20 May) until 6am the following morning (21 May). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound link from M69 to M6 junction 2 northbound link will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am each night from 19 May to 23 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
