Planned road works in West Midlands: weekly summary for Monday 15 to Sunday 21 June 2015
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 12 June 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A40 Welsh Border to Whitchurch: carriageway works
The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions between 8pm and 6am from 15 June until 23 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A45 Tollbar to Stivichall, West Midlands: major improvement works
The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 18 June to 21 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A45 Stivichall to Tollbar, West Midlands: major improvement works
The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm on 20 June to 6am on 21 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 between A44/A46 Twyford Roundabout and B439/A46 Salford Roundabout, West Midlands: carriageway works
The carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am until 31 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 entry slip from B5404, Tamworth, West Midlands: carriageway works
There will be a 24-hour northbound entry slip closure from 6am 19 May ongoing until 6am 29 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Preston Boats (A49/A5) island to M54 junction 7, West Midlands: carriageway works
The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 15 June until 16 September. These works will not be carried out on Saturday and Sunday nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Weeford Island to Mile Oak, West Midlands: carriageway works
The westbound carriageway and slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 15 June until 26 June. These works will not be carried out on Saturday and Sunday nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Weeford to M42 junction 10, West Midlands: carriageway works
The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 16 June until 18 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A500 between A5020 and M6 junction 16, West Midlands: carriageway works
There will be an off-network carriageway closure in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 15 June until 18 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A500 Pothill exit slip, West Midlands: carriageway works
The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8.30pm and 5am from 15 June until 19 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A500 Hanford entry slip, West Midlands: carriageway works
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm on 17 June until 5am on 18 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A500 entry slip to A5006 roundabout, West Midlands: carriageway works
The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 10pm on 18 June until 5am on 19 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 junction 2 to 1, West Midlands: carriageway works
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 15 June until 17 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 junction 2 to 3, West Midlands: carriageway works
The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 10pm and 6am from 15 June until 5 October. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 junction 4 to 3a, West Midlands: carriageway works
The southbound carriageway, including the junction 4 entry slip, will be closed overnight between 6pm on 15 June and 6am on 16 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 4 both directions, West Midlands: carriageway works
The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 15 June to 31 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M54 junction 5 Telford to Junction 3 Albrighton, Telford and Wrekin: carriageway works
The carriageway will be closed overnight in both directions between 9pm and 6am from 15 June to 5 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange, West Midlands: carriageway works
There will be a full 24hour eastbound link road closure ongoing until 6am 30 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 9, Wednesbury, West Midlands: carriageway works
There will be a full 24 hour southbound entry slip closure ongoing until 6am 30 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 16 exit slip, West Midlands: carriageway works
The northbound exit slip will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 15 June to 18 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6/M5 Western Arm, West Midlands: carriageway works
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 10pm on 15 June until 6am on 16 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 13 to 12, West Midlands: carriageway works
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 10pm on 15 June until 6am the following morning (16 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 12 to 10a, West Midlands: carriageway works
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights, between 10pm and 6am from 16 June until 18 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 12 exit slip, West Midlands: carriageway works
The northbound exit slip will be closed overnight from 10pm on 16 June until 6am the following morning (17 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 10 to 10a, West Midlands: carriageway works
The northbound carriageway, including the junction 10 entry slip, will be closed overnight from 8pm on 17 June until 6am the following morning (18 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
