Planned road works in West Midlands: weekly summary for Monday 13 July to 19 July 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 10 July 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38M out of city to Tyburn Road: bridge inspections

The carriageway will be closed for one night between 10pm and 5am from 14 July until 15 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38M Tyburn Road to Gravelly Hill interchange: bridge inspections

The carriageway will be closed for one night from 10pm and 5am from 16 July until the following morning (17 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Tollbar End to A45/A46 Stivichall junction: bridge works

The carriageway will be closed in both directions for one night from 6pm and 9am from 18 July until the following morning (19 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Toll Bar Island to Binley Woods Island: carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 12 July until 19 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Millennium Roundabout to Broadway Roundabout: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 13 July until 22 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Weeford to M42 junction 10: carriageway resurfacing

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 13 July until 19 July. These works will not be in place over the weekends. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Muckley Corner to Wall Island: carriageway works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 13 July until 17 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5/M54 Junction 7 to Preston Boats (A5/A49) Island: carriageway resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 13 July until 19 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5/B5080 entry slip: carriageway resurfacing

The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 13 July until 19 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Meir Interchange/Tean Roundabout: carriageway works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed for one night from 8pm 15 July until 5am the following morning (16 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Longton junction (A5035): street lighting works

The eastbound entry slip road will be closed for one night from 8pm 15 July until 6am the following morning (16 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Catchams Corner junction: street lighting works

The westbound entry slip road will be closed for one night from 8pm 16 July until 6am the following morning (17 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 Normacot: street lighting column repair

The westbound exit slip road will be closed for one night from 8pm 17 July until 6am the following morning (18 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 Whieldon Road to Stoke Road: litter picking/road sweeping

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 13 July to 18 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 13 July until 6am the following morning (14 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 junction 7 to Junction 6 (Includes junction 6 Exit Slip), West Midlands: renewal of overhead signage

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 13 July until 6am the following morning (14 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 14 July until 6am the following morning (15 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 16 July until 6am the following morning (17 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 5 to junction 3 (Forge Interchange), West Midlands: carriageway works

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 13 July to 27 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 15 July to 25 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8.30pm and 6am from 13 July to 18 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
