The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 8 July 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

The Links from Out of City A38M will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 11 July until 17 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38M – Tyburn Road merge onto A38M: structural and carriageway works

The Link roads from Tyburn Road to A38m towards City Aston Expressway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 11 July until 17 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Between A49/A489 Grove junction and A49/B4370 Marshbrook junction: pavement renewals

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 July until 17 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Tump Lane slip road: CCTV works

The slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 12 July until 17 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Holyhead Road to Wolfeshead roundabout: carriageway repairs

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 7pm and 7am from 11 July until 16 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Dobbies to Emstry: carriageway resurfacing

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 9.30pm 14 July until 5am the following morning (15 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 – A5006 from Michelin roundabout and A500 northbound sideway slip road: material deliveries

The northbound carriageway and slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 July until 17 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 10 to junction 7: carriageway resurfacing

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 11 July until 17 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 5 exit slip road: streetlight repairs

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8.30pm 11 July until 5am the following morning (12 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M42 – junction 3 to junction 4: electrical works

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 13 July until 5am the following morning (14 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 – junction 6 to junction 5: major scheme works

The northbound carriageway will be closed in overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 July until 15 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 – junction 6 to junction 5: major scheme works

The carriageway will be closed southbound between 8pm and 6am on 17 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 1 entry slip road: grass cutting

The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm the 11 July until 6am the following morning (12 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm the 11 July until 6am the following morning (12 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 1 entry slip road: grass cutting

The westbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 12 July until 6am the following morning (13 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 1 exit slip road: grass cutting

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 12 July until 6am the following morning (13 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 2 entry slip road: grass cutting

The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 13 July until 6am the following morning (14 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 2 exit slip road: grass cutting

The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 13 July until 6am the following morning (14 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 2 entry slip road: grass cutting

The westbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 14 July until 6am the following morning (15 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 – junction 2 exit slip road: grass cutting

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 14tJuly until 6am the following morning (15 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 6 Salford Circus to M6: Re-waterproofing and structural repairs

There will be a 24-hour carriageway closure in both directions from 1 July 2016 ongoing until 23 December 2017. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 7 exit slip road: carriageway works

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 11 July until 17 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 7 to junction 8: carriageway works

The northbound carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 11th July until 17th July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 12 entry slip road: electrical works

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 11 July until 6am the following morning (12 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 12 entry and exit slip roads: electrical works

The northbound entry and exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 12 July until 6am the following morning (13 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 16 to junction 15: installation of narrow lanes

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 12 July until 16 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 – junction 12 and entry slip road: electrical works

The southbound carriageway and entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 13 July until 6am the following morning (14 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
