The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 8 January 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38M – Exit slip to Tyburn Road, West Midlands: pedestrian crossing refurbishment

The northbound exit slip will be closed during the day between 9.30am and 3.30pm from 11 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38M – Erdington Inner City, West Midlands: emergency safety inspections

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 January until 16 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 – Stivichall junction to Toll Barr End junction, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 – Toll Barr End to TGI Island, West Midlands: carriageway work

The northbound carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Between A4113 Bromfield and B4368 Craven Arms, West Midlands: urgent parapet repairs

The carriageway will be closed in both directions from 8pm 15 January until 6am 17 January. Please note these works are 24 hour working over the weekend. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Bayston Hill, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 January until 16 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 – Starting Gate Roundabout to A49/A417, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 10pm and 6am from 13 January until 16 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 Churchbridge to Washbrook Lane, West Midlands: footway widening

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5/A4601 Longford Island to M6 Junction 12, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 11 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A5 – Watling Street/Longford Island, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 7pm and 6am from 11 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A50 – Blurton Road to Stanley Matthews Way, West Midlands: carriageway work

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for two nights between 9pm and 5am from 14 January until 16 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 6 to junction 4 including junction 5 entry slip, West Midlands: installation of narrow lanes

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 6 entry and exit slip roads, West Midlands: construction work

The northbound and southbound slip roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 6 exit slip road, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 11 January until 5am the following morning (12 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 4 to junction 3 including junction 3 entry slip, West Midlands: barrier work

The eastbound carriageway including junction 3 entry slip road will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 15 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 junction 2 exit slip, West Midlands: emergency bridge repairs

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 15 January until 5am the following morning (16 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 5 entry slip, West Midlands: bridge repairs

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip closure from 10 January ongoing until 6am 30 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 5 and slip roads, West Midlands: emergency barrier repairs

The northbound carriageway and slip roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 January until 17 January. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 16 exit and entry slip roads, West Midlands: litter clearance

The northbound exit slip and southbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 11 January until 6am the following morning (12 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 3 entry slip, West Midlands: sign repairs

The southbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 13 January until 6am the following morning (14 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 15 entry and exit slip roads, West Midlands: litter clearance

The southbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight for one night from10pm 13 January until 6am the following morning (14 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 junction 15 entry and exit slip roads, West Midlands: litter clearance

The northbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight for one night from10pm 15 January until 6am the following morning (16 January). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
