Plane crash in Afghanistan

The Foreign Office has confirmed that three British nationals were on board a Pamir Airways flight which crashed in Afghanistan on 17 May 2010.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The plane was on route from the northern city of Kunduz to Kabul.

The Afghan Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation and International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) are investigating.

FCO consular assistance is being provided.
