Overnight road closures as part of bridge work over M6 near Trentham, Staffordshire
Overnight work to replace expansion joints on the bridge which carries Barthomley Road over the M6 near Trentham, Staffordshire, starts on Monday 23 June for three nights.
The joints allow structures to expand and contract with seasonal changes in temperature.
The work involves a full overnight closure of Barthomley Road from 7pm to 6am each night, with traffic diverted via Audley Road, the A500, Alsager Road and B5500.
Highways Agency Project Manager Colin Jackson said:
We advise road users affected by the diversion to allow extra time for their journeys.
