Overnight improvements on the A14, Suffolk

Road users will benefit from improved safety along the eastbound A14 in Suffolk thanks to a scheme taking place in April.

Overnight work to repaint white lines and replace road studs between junction 58, Levington Seven Hills, and junction 62 Felixstowe Dock Gate 1 is due to start at 8pm on Monday 7 April and complete by 6am on Wednesday 16 April, weather permitting. Static and mobile lane closures will be in place while work takes place.

Andy Dyer, Highways Agency Project Sponsor, said:

This work will improve journeys for road users, and make them safer. Work has been planned to take place overnight, avoiding the busier peak periods and minimising disruption to other road users’ journeys. No work will take place on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Work on the scheme will take place between 8pm and 6am Mondays to Fridays.
