Overnight footway improvements on A49 in Hereford
The Highways Agency is to carry out overnight resurfacing on the footpath along the A49 Roman Road and Church Way through Hereford from Monday 2 June.
The week long scheme just north of the Starting Gate Roundabout also includes upgrading pedestrian facilities at various locations, by installing tactile paving and dropped kerbs.
Work takes place between 10.30pm and 6.30am under a series of separate phases including two, three and four way temporary traffic lights and a temporary closure of the access road and layby on the northbound carriageway.
Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
