Overnight closures on M25 in Essex

Road users in Essex are advised that there will be overnight closures and diversions on the M25 between junction 30 and junction 31 starting next week.

The clockwise carriageway will be closed for resurfacing work overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Wednesday 13 May for four nights (Monday to Friday only). Work on Friday will start at 11pm. A clearly signed diversion to junction 31 will be in place.

The clockwise entry slip road at junction 31 will be closed and lane closures on the clockwise carriageway will be in place overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Tuesday 19 May for five nights (Tuesday to Thursday only).

The east tunnel at the Dartford Crossing will be closed and lane closures will be in place from the tunnel exit to junction 31 overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Wednesday 3 June for two nights.

The west tunnel at the Dartford Crossing will be closed and lane closures will be in place from the tunnel exit to junction 31 overnight, between 11pm and 6am, on Friday 5 June.

Drivers planning to use this section of the M25 are advised to plan their journeys and allow extra time to reach their destinations.
