Overnight closure of M42 to M6 link road near Birmingham
The M42 junction 8 southbound link road to the M6 northbound will be closed overnight on Monday 19 May for resurfacing.
The work takes place between 9pm and 6am during which time traffic will be diverted further south on the M42 to junction 6 where it will turn round and head north to junction 7 to join the M6.
Highways Agency Project Manager Richard Gulliver said:
Although the work will be carried out at night to minimise disruption drivers should still allow extra time for their journeys.
