Office of Fair Trading and Competition Commission: final annual reports published
The CMA notes the publication of the final editions of the OFT and the CC annual reports and accounts, covering 2013 to 2014.
Today the final Office of Fair Trading (OFT) annual report and accounts and the final Competition Commission (CC) annual report and accounts were published on GOV.UK. The reports and accompanying annexes cover the 12-month period from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014.
Both organisations closed on 1 April 2014. The CC’s functions transferred to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). The OFT’s responsibilities passed to a number of different organisations including the CMA and the Financial Conduct Authority.
