Budget

Asked what the Chancellor said at Cabinet about the Budget, the Prime Minister’s Spokesman (PMS) said that the Chancellor took the Cabinet through the Budget and set out the main aims, which were to reform and rebalance the economy, and to help families with the cost of living.

Libya

Asked if the Prime Minister would encourage Gaddafi to go into exile, the PMS said that Gaddafi should stop attacking his own people and step down.
