Explosions of gas released from cargo with 1 person injured on general cargo ship Nortrader in Plymouth Sound, UK.
Our accident investigation report on 2 explosions of gas released from a cargo of unprocessed incinerator bottom ash on Nortrader while at anchorage in Plymouth Sound on 13 January 2017 is now published.
A safety flyer for the shipping industry summarising the accident and detailing the safety lessons learned has also been produced.
