New Chair for DIO Board
Jayne McGivern has been appointed as the new Chair of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) Board.
Jayne, who will be the first independent Chair of the DIO Board, has an extensive background in property and has worked in senior executive roles within the sector, including CEO of Mulitplex. She is also an experienced non-executive director.
As the Chair Jayne will lead the DIO Board, whose role is to support and challenge the DIO executive in the development of business strategies and plans, and to monitor DIO’s performance against its business objectives.
Jon Thompson, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence said:
Jayne brings wide and hugely valuable experience across the property sector to this new role as non-executive Chair of the DIO Board. I will be looking to Jayne to bring her wealth of experience to bear in working with Dave Mitchard, the Chief Executive of DIO, and his leadership team to ensure effective delivery of infrastructure services to DIO’s customers, delivery of the footprint strategy and DIO’s transformation and efficiency agenda.
