Minister Ellwood statement on bombing in Lebanon

Minister for the Middle East and North Africa Tobias Ellwood horrified by suicide bombings in the village of Qaa in eastern Lebanon

Mr Ellwood said:

I was horrified to hear of the bombings in Al Qaa, which I condemn totally. My thoughts are with the victims and their families. The United Kingdom remains determined as ever to back stability in Lebanon and is committed to assisting the Lebanese security agencies in enhancing security throughout the country.
