Anaerobic digestion facility permit application open for public consultation.
The Environment Agency is inviting local residents and businesses to attend a drop-in event to discuss the permit application of an anaerobic digestion facility.
The drop-in will be held on Tuesday 17 January from 2.30pm until 7.30pm at:
Measham Leisure Centre
The aim of the drop-in is to speak to local residents and answer any questions about the environmental permit application which has been made by AB Produce in Measham to operate an anaerobic digestion plant. Environment Agency staff will be on hand to provide information about the application and their role as the regulator.
Kate Oates from the Environment Agency commented:

It is important that we obtain and consider the views of the public before we make our final decision on the application.
