M4 overnight resurfacing near Heathrow

Sections of the M4 will be closed in a series of overnight closures near Heathrow for three weeks from Monday (27 April).

The work will be carried out overnight and involve carriageway and slip road closures to allow 3.7 miles of resurfacing. It is expected to be completed, weather permitting, in mid-May.

It will involve the overnight closures, in various phases, of the eastbound M4 between junctions 4 and 3, the westbound carriageway between the exit and entry slip roads at junction 4b, the westbound entry slip road at junction 4 and the westbound exit slip road at junction 5.

The work will be carried out overnight between the following times:

  • Monday to Thursday 10pm to 5.30am
  • Friday 11pm to 6am
  • Saturday 10pm to 6am
  • Sunday 10.30pm to 5.30am

Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place during the closures.
