GREAT Campaign is launched in Luanda

The British Embassy in Luanda launches its GREAT Campaign in November sharing the best of British business and culture.

Great Campaign

Today, the British Embassy in Luanda announces the launch of its GREAT Campaign in Angola, two months either side of the Christmas period, of intense activity as part of the UK’s GREAT Britain campaign. The campaign, with the slogan “GREAT Britain: Partnering Prosperity”, aims to raise awareness of the multi-faceted appeal of the UK as a GREAT partner for business, innovation, investment, study and tourism.

The campaign kicks off in November with an event to promote the latest James Bond movie, SPECTRE. In mid-November the Embassy will be hosting a trade mission from the South East of England, and towards the end of the month prospective students will be able to meet with top-flight British universities at an Education Fair at Lusiada University. Finally, the month will conclude with an exciting and unprecedented staging of Shakespeare’s Hamlet by London’s Shakespeare’s Globe at the Brazilian Cultural Centre.

In February there will be further trade missions, as well as seminars, high level visits and much more details of the various events and how to get involved can be found on the British Embassy’s facebook and twitter pages.

There should be something for everyone, whether they want to seek out UK business partners; to learn English; to study at one of our world class universities; to read Shakespeare or delve into our culture; or just to visit our astonishing country.
