Foreign Secretary meets Polish Foreign Minister

Foreign Secretary William Hague met Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in London on 27 July.

In addition to bilateral issues, the Ministers discussed the EU’s policy toward the Eastern Neighbourhood, in particular Belarus, Ukraine and the Eastern Partnership, the situation in North Africa and the Middle East, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran, as well as the EU’s Common Security and Defence Policy. They also discussed EU growth and economic issues.

Poland took over Presidency of the European Union on 1 July.
