Foreign Secretary comments on plane crash in Russia

Foreign Secretary William Hague expressed condolences after a plane crashed in Yaroslavl yesterday, killing at least 43 people.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Speaking today the Foreign Secretary said:

“On behalf of the British Government, I express my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of all of those who lost their lives in yesterday’s tragic plane crash, including members of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl ice hockey team. Our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.”
