Speaking today, Foreign Secretary William Hague said:

“I was deeply concerned by the news of today’s explosion in Ankara, which killed three people and injured a number of others. My thoughts are with the victims, and I offer sincere condolences to their families and friends. I know the Turkish authorities are working tirelessly to establish the facts behind this incident and we stand fully by them as they do that. If this turns out to be an act of terrorism, the UK would condemn it in the strongest terms.”
