Foreign Office Minister comments on the flooding in Central America

Foreign Office Minister Jeremy Browne sends his sympathy to those affected by heavy rain and flooding in Costa Rica, Honduras and Nicaragua.

Speaking today the Foreign Office Minister said:

“I am very sorry to learn that the devastation and loss of life caused by heavy rain and flooding has spread to Costa Rica, Honduras and Nicaragua as well as Guatemala and El Salvador. This is a tragedy for the whole region and I send my sympathy to all those affected. We stand with the governments of the region as they lead their countries’ recovery.”
