The publication of these monthly reports promotes transparency and accountability across government and lets people check that departments are meeting their commitments.

The Prime Minister launched the draft Structural Reform Plans in June last year and published detailed business plans for each department in November.

The Structural Reform Plans are the key tool of the Coalition Government for ensuring that departments are accountable for the implementation of the reforms set out in the Coalition Agreement.
