FCO comment following verdict of trials of former President Mubarak
“Egyptians understandably wish to establish responsibility for the killings of unarmed protestors during the revolution in Egypt, to end the culture of impunity and to strengthen the rule of law."

The former President of Egypt and the former Interior Minister were sentenced today for their role in the killing of protestors during the uprising in early 2011.
