Edward Davey’s comment on the latest Green Deal and Energy Company Obligation statistics.
Commenting on the monthly Green Deal and ECO statistics Edward Davey, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change said:
“We’re aiming to make 1 million homes warmer and more energy efficient by March 2015 – and we’re on track with nearly 800, 000 homes helped through ECO and the Green Deal by the end of August.
More than 350, 000 homes have now had a Green Deal Assessment and our recent research indicates that 70% of people go on to get work done.
“Now with an extra £100 million for household energy efficiency, even more people will be able to cut their energy bills and have warmer homes sooner.”
