DSCC Online: Multi-factor Authentication
We're introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all DSCC Online users to improve account security.
As part of our commitment to improving the security of our services, we’re introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all DSCC Online users.
MFA is a security process that requires you to provide more than one form of identification when signing in. This adds an extra layer of protection to your account and significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access.
We’re contacting all existing users to make sure everyone has their own individual DSCC Online account. Shared accounts are not permitted.
Available MFA methods
- Microsoft Authenticator app
- third-party authenticator apps, for example Google Authenticator
What happens next
We will send further information and guidance on the MFA enrolment process to all users ahead of the planned implementation date in early September 2026.
Creating new accounts ahead of MFA
If your organisation needs new DSCC Online accounts created in preparation for MFA, email dsccadmin@dutysolicitors.org with “MFA - New Account” in the subject line.
Include the following details for each user who needs access:
- full name
- PIN
- email address
- office account number
