Announced by British Foreign Secretary William Hague in May 2012, the initiative aims to raise awareness of and help prevent sexual violence in conflict. Supported by the UN Association of Hungary, the exhibition took place in the Hungarian Women’s Alliance’s conference hall as part of a conference series on human rights. The British Embassy’s Deputy Head of Mission Theresa Bubbear opened the picture exhibition which reached Budapest from Vienna and continued its journey to Ljubljana.
