We're proposing to change the size and format of our statistical releases and the frequency we publish them.
Background
Companies House is the source of information on incorporated companies in the UK. All limited companies in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland are registered at Companies House. There are more than 3.5 million limited companies registered in the UK, and more than 500,000 new companies are incorporated each year.
Proposal to change our statistical releases
We publish a range of statistics on company activity in the UK. We’re proposing to change the size and format of our statistical releases and the frequency we publish them. Further information on the proposal to change statistical releases can be found here.
