Civil news: updated contracts from 1 September 2019 now available
New contracts replacing current first year schedules for the 2018 Standard Civil Contract are now available.
New civil contract schedules are now available on the Contracted Work and Administration (CWA) portal.
These replace the current first year schedules for the 2018 Standard Civil Contract. They are valid from 1 September 2019 until 31 August 2020. Contracted firms will have received a notification from CWA their new schedule is available to view. You do not have to accept anything for it to take effect.
Reporting work
Work completed in September 2019 can be reported from 1 October 2019.
Matter start allocations
In most cases your matter starts will reflect the allocation you bid for in the original tender.
Where you have self-granted an additional 50% of matter stats, you will receive this increased allocation.
You may have bid in the original tender for additional miscellaneous matter starts to advice victims of human trafficking/modern slavery. If so you will receive the allocation of 20 additional matter starts again.
You will be able to self-grant a further 50% of matter starts in the second year of the contract.
