Civil news: tender for 2015 civil contracts opened 1 December 2014

Invitations to tender for actions against the police, clinical negligence and public law contracts.

A procurement process to tender for 2015 civil contracts in a number of areas opened on 1 December 2014 and will close at 12 noon on 23 January 2015.

The categories include:

  • Actions against the police
  • Clinical negligence
  • Public law

Existing contracts to deliver these services come to an end on 31 October 2015.

To continue delivering services after this date organisations will need to have successfully tendered and been awarded a new civil legal aid contract in these categories of law. These will start 1 November 2015.

Responses to the tender must be made online through the eTendering system.

Any questions about the content of the tender or the ‘Information for Applicants’ (IFA) document must be raised through the eTendering system by 12pm on 16 December 2014.

Questions of wider interest will be collated and answered through a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document which will be published on the civil tenders page – see below.
