Churches Conservation Trust appointment: Edward Harley

The Queen has approved the appointment of Edward Mortimer Harley as a Member of the Churches Conservation Trust.

The Queen has approved the appointment of Edward Mortimer Harley, DL, as a Member of the Churches Conservation Trust for a period of 3 years from 6 October 2016.

Notes for editors

Edward Harley is a past president of the Historic Houses Association and, until 2015, was a director of Cazenove Capital Management. He is currently chairman of the Heritage Conservation Trust, the Mappa Mundi Trust and the Acceptance in Lieu Panel. He is a director of The Goldsmiths’ Company and a non-executive director of Monks Investment Trust, Edinburgh. He is also a trustee of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, the Burghley House Preservation Trust and on the Advisory Council of Tate Britain.

He is a Lay Canon of Hereford Cathedral and a Deputy Lieutenant for Herefordshire.
