Political stability continues to be a problem and the risk of violence and further demonstrations remains, but life in both cities has largely returned to normal. The Thai government has removed the curfew formerly in place in Bangkok and 23 other provinces.
British nationals throughout Thailand are advised to exercise caution and avoid demonstrations and large gatherings. They should also continue to monitor FCO travel advice and the media.
