Cabinet Office people survey 2011

The results of the 2011 people survey for the Cabinet Office have been published.

The results of the 2011 people survey for the Cabinet Office have been published.

The 2011 People Survey ran for 4 weeks from 19 September to 14 October 2011 and had a response rate of 94%. This response is one of the highest across the civil service, and is the highest of all Whitehall departments.

The survey is part of the annual Civil Service Survey, the third time a civil service-wide survey has been conducted. It is the largest of its kind in Britain, involving nearly 300,000 staff from across the civil service.

The civil service benchmark engagement index remains the same as 2010 at 56%. The full report is available on the Civil Service website (1MB).

Further information

The Government Procurement Service (formerly Buying Solutions) ran a separate people survey during the same period as it is an agency of Cabinet Office; they had a response rate of 86%.
