Brokenshire praises PSNI on Lurgan Arms Find
Earlier this evening, the Secretary of State, Rt Hon James Brokenshire MP praised the work of PSNI following the identification of a large arms find in the Cornakinnegar area of Lurgan.
Mr Brokenshire commented:
The PSNI and bomb disposal team are to be congratulated for their excellent work in identifying and disarming these explosives. Their professionalism during this important operation has helped keep the community safe.
Those responsible for hiding these explosives want to drag Northern Ireland backwards. They will not succeed. This is a reminder of the continuing need for vigilance and to report any information – no matter how small – to the PSNI.
