The British Embassy in Asunción is delighted to announce the British Week: 10 years in Paraguay, from Saturday 15 to Sunday 23 August 2026. 

This special 10-year anniversary edition of British Week will feature events that celebrate British excellence across food, literature, education, business, music, academia and culture, and continue to raise the profile of the UK in Paraguay. 

We share below the calendar of events for the week, with details of the activities that form part of our varied programme. 

Programme 

Week-long 

• Full English Breakfast and Afternoon Tea Ritual, at all locations of Urbano Café.
• British-style beer and menu at Sacramento Brewing Co.
• British cars, motorbikes, a selection of British products, and an exhibit dedicated to Sir David Attenborough at Casa Rica Molas López and Los Laureles.
• Complete your ”Fish and Chips Passport” or “Fishaport” at participating locations to participate in a special raffle at the end of the week. British foodie experience at El Dorado, Sacramento Brewing Co., Puerto Pira, Aurelia Brew Pub and Casa Rica (Los Laureles and Molas López). 
• Raffles and prizes at the Embassy’s social media accounts: Instagram and X - Twitter
