Autumn Statement on plans for UK economy

Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne has delivered the annual Autumn Statement on plans for the UK economy.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The Autumn Statement provides an update on the Government’s plans for the economy, to protect the UK from global instability and the euro area crisis and build a stronger, more balanced economy for the future. You can find full details of the announcements on the HM Treasury website.

The Office for Budget Responsibility has published its Economic and fiscal outlook. This set out forecasts for the economy and the public finances. The report also contains an assessment of whether the Government is likely to achieve its fiscal mandate and supplementary target.
