This year the Service of Remembrance will be held on 10 and 11 November.
Poppies for those who died in war
This year the annual Service of Remembrance will take place on 10 November, Sunday, at Sofia Central Cemetery. The gathering commemorates those who have died as a result of war. The service will start promptly at 10:50 am at the British Military Cemetery to be followed by services at the French, German and Italian military cemeteries.
A Service of Remembrance will also be held in Plovdiv on 11 November, Monday, at 11:00 am at the British Military Cemetery within Plovdiv Cemetery.
Poppies are on sale at the British Embassy, British Council and Anglo American School in Sofia. All donations go to the Royal British Legion to help ex-servicemen.
