Anniversary Statement: Pulsar XP, G-CKIS
Forced landing following loss of power, field adjacent to Stoney Lane Airfield, Worcestershire, 8 June 2025
This statement provides an update on the AAIB investigation into an accident involving a kit-built Pulsar XP aircraft, G-CKIS. During the approach to land the engine lost power and the pilot made a forced landing in a field just short of the runway. The field was soft with long grass and on touchdown the aircraft spun round causing damage to the wing, fuselage and propeller.
The investigation into this accident, which involve aspects of the fuel system, has been completed and a final report will be published in due course.
