Anniversary Statement: Fan Jet Falcon Series E, G-FRAD
Aircraft suffered a target cable jam, the target struck a house as the aircraft was on its final approach to land near Cornwall Airport Newquay

A Fan Jet Falcon Series E, G-FRAD, operating in a target towing role experienced a failure of the target winch system which resulted in the target remaining deployed on 750 m of cable. The aircraft diverted to Cornwall Airport Newquay and on final approach the target struck and damaged a house under the flightpath. This statement provides an update on the ongoing AAIB investigation into the accident.
The investigation into this accident is ongoing and the investigation report will be published in due course.
