Anniversary Statement: Cessna 210L, N1110S

Loss of control after engine failure on approach, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, 29 July 2025

This statement provides an update on the ongoing AAIB investigation into an accident involving a Cessna 210L, N1110S, at Providenciales International Airport, Turks and Caicos Islands, on 29 July 2025.

On final approach to the airport, the aircraft’s engine ran roughly and subsequently lost power. The aircraft struck the ground in the undershoot to the runway fatally injuring the pilot and seriously injuring the passenger.

The investigation into the loss of power is still ongoing, and the final report will be published in due course.
