Alun Cairns, Secretary of State for Wales, said:

S4C’s commitment to high quality broadcast coverage has never been in doubt and today’s announcement is great news for viewers across Wales.

As we gear up for a fantastic summer of sport, I am delighted that S4C are harnessing the latest technology so that supporters can enjoy the best possible viewing experience - and hopefully some good results too.
